About Elisa

Elisa Niva is a multidisciplinary artist, fashion designer, and product developer based in Philadelphia. Her work spans both the tangible world of clothing and the expressive space of abstract painting—each discipline informing the other through a deep commitment to intuition, texture, and feeling.

Elisa has over a decade of experience designing and developing collections for brands such as Anthropologie, Free People, and other design-led fashion and lifestyle labels. She spent 3.5 years living and working in Delhi, India, building close relationships with artisan-led factories and ethical production partners. Her hands-on approach spans everything from technical design and sourcing to print development, embroidery, and small-batch production management—services she now offers to boutiques and small brands looking to launch or expand their own in-house collections.

Alongside her design work, Elisa is a painter whose abstract works capture moments that can’t be put into words—fleeting feelings, sensory shifts, and emotional landscapes. She paints intuitively using bold shapes, soft washes, texture, and color to create compositions that hold space for contrast and connection. Her process is rooted in curiosity and emotion, drawing inspiration from the natural world, shared human experience, and her own inner voice.

Elisa’s practice is grounded in collaboration, exploration, and storytelling—whether through fabric or paint.
